I received a National VHD player and a few discs from Japan. Playback seems to be a bit noisy- is this normal for the format, is the stylus worn, or are some discs better than others? I don't remember my other player, which no longer works, having this much video noise. Having extensive experience with CED however, I know the amount of video noise on those discs varies greatly depending on disc condition.
